What happens in our Saket room every night, and why the club matters to every brand and corporate show we produce.
Hideout Comedy Club sits in the basement of PVR Anupam in Saket, South Delhi. There are shows every night, more than a hundred a month, and around 7,000 people come through the doors each month.
A room built for comedy
Comedy works best in a room that holds laughter: a low ceiling, seats close together and a stage the whole audience can see. The Hideout room was built around those rules. The painted wall behind the stage, with its two eyes, has become the backdrop for thousands of sets and clips.
Where new material gets tested
Comedians use rooms like ours to try new material in front of real audiences before it goes into a special or a tour. That’s why many of the country’s best-known comedians have played our stage alongside rising voices.
Why it matters for our clients
The club is also how we choose talent. We watch artists work a live crowd night after night, so when we recommend a comedian for a corporate show or a brand campaign, the recommendation comes from seeing them perform, not from a follower count.
